Duckling Rescue from a drain

Ducks often nest in your backyard, especially if you have a pool. A fenced area with water provides an ideal spot for a mother duck to lay and care for her eggs.

We received a call from a member of public in Oakleigh with a complicated situation with Wood ducks and their ducklings.

The ducklings had already been rescued from a drain by people at a local business. Unfortunately the parents flew away and baby ducklings were on their own at the local creek.

After many texts and calls and the help of the members of public we sent out a search and rescue to find them.

Our team of two rescuers managed to retrieve the ducklings and a successful reunite was completed!

Wildlife Pool Rescue Ramp

This great invention is ideal for small furry and scaly animals that may accidentally fall into pools, including frogs, turtles, and small mammals.

The Animal Pool Lifesaver (Frog Log) helps eliminate harmful bacteria from animal accidents and reduces pool maintenance costs.
