Tennis Anyone?

Yesterday we received a call from a member of public (James) who found a Crested Grebe at Camberwell Tennis Courts that wasn’t looking too well. James was able to contain the Grebe until one of our volunteer rescuers arrived to collect the bird to take it to the vet.

We believe the Grebe may be suffering from a case of Botulism (a bacteria toxin ingested from infected water or food). This beautiful aquatic bird will need careful nursing and hopefully will recover well in care.

Want to join the team and become a volunteer rescue and transporter? We have an online workshop coming up on Sat the 3rd of February. https://shop.warriors4wildlife.org/workshops
